Let’s begin with a hot little film that women everywhere are planning their Friday night aroundMagic Mike! Magic Mike, which opens Friday, June 29 follows two young (and let’s just say it ladies), HOT male dancers on their quest for parties, fun and romance. While the movie may seem like just a gorgeous display of shirtless wonders, critics have called the film funny, entertaining and honest.

With Matthew McConaughey, Channing Tatum, Matt Bomer and Alex Pettyfer lighting up the big screen, this is a must-see. Grab your girlfriends and hold on to your hormones because Magic Mike is about to take you on one wild summer ride!

Nothing says summer like a superhero movie, and this summer has two of the best! July 3rd will have your Spidy senses tingling to head to the movies to check out The Amazing Spider-Man!

The Amazing Spider-Man not only comes with a fresh new cast, but also offers fans some background dirt on Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), a brand new twist on the story of Spiderman, and even a hot new love interest (Emma Stone). Packed with secrets, action and even a hint of romance, The Amazing Spider-Man is a sure bet for summer.

If after watching Spiderman spin his web of enticement you’re still itching for more superhero action, you’re in luck! The Dark Knight Rises, which opens July 20, puts Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) back in action with brand new moral dilemmas to sort through and brand new crazy villains to fight off. Eight years after the demise of Two Face and the shadow that Batman cast upon himself, he returns to save Gotham City from the rage of Bane. Armed with the sly yet slightly crazy Catwoman (Anne Hathaway), this Dark Knight film is rumored to be perhaps the best of the Dark Knight trilogy.

If you’re looking for a lighter mood in your summer films, then bring your cotton candy smile and check out Katy Perry: Part of Me, opening July 5. This documentary shines a light of true reality on the life of a celebrity as it follows the singing sensation both on and off screen.

Viewers will get to see the good, the bad and the ugly of pop life, who Katy Perry was before we all knew her and what demons, personally and professionally, she still struggles with. While the movie has been rumored to have a few down moments, let’s face it, it’s Katy Perry, everyone’s loveable California Gurl, and few personify a sweet summer night quite like she does!

So grab a date or go solo; but get to the movies ASAP! With the summer heat reaching record highs and these blockbusters on the entertainment horizon, you won’t have to think twice about summer plans.
