The Great Gatsby is F. Scott Fitzgerald’s tale of an idealization gone awry, the supposed ‘American Dream’ laced with betrayal and tragedy. We have the pleasure, present-day, to get a Baz Luhrmann adaptation that we’ve been eagerly awaiting and prying into through various paparazzi photos and rumors. But now that the trailer is here and it is dripping with glitz and glam…all that you would expect of a Gatsby get-down…we are reminded how much we love Baz’s take on classics (not to mention the K.West score). Watch the trailer below and look forward to opening up this cinematic gift come Christmastime!
