Recruiting specialty: I have placed people at every level from receptionist to CEO for our clients. I lead our division that focuses on the Action Sports, Athletic and Outdoor industries.
I became a recruiter because … They told me I could make money by making friends and then getting jobs for my friends. I get to work with and grow the companies that make the gear I use and wear, so that’s cool too.
Favorite designer: I have so many great friends in design, I guess it depends what we are talking about… Shoes, Apparel, Headphones, Backpacks, Outerwear… I know that’s not what they meant when they asked the question, oh well.
Celebrity crush: Don’t know any well enough to have a crush on them. I don’t have a crush on her, but Lori Zaslow is pretty cool and will be on TV soon…
Favorite place in NY: My boy Vimal’s house. He lives above (not directly, a few floors up) the Y-3 store in Meatpacking. We do secret santa, game night, super bowl watching and more there. Plus he and his roommate just got engaged, so it’s a pretty special place for that reason too. Congrats Vim and Ellen!
Interview horror story: My interviews are pretty low key and mostly on the phone or Skype. That being said we have had to call the cops a few time here in NY for my colleague’s interviews. One time Momma Jen had to hide in the closet.
Best interview tip: Look at the website, do some research; ask the recruiter what to wear. If you are not prepared, you might as well not show up.
Favorite accessory: Easy: 2011 Roc Nation Aviator. Cheaper than Dre’s headphone and the sound is way better if you ask me. Plus Skullcandy actually supports athletes, which I like…
If I could be an animal I would be… What kills a cougar?
Dream vacation: That is TOUGH! I love traveling. I guess I would want to spend a week on the mountains then a week on a beach. Ideally places I have never been. I also like dive bars.

Restaurant I would recommend: Italianissimo on the UES. 84th btw 1st and 2nd. Small, quiet, AMAZING food.
