How did you find out about JBCStyle/JBCconnect? Through a previous boss at my internship with Alice+Olivia.
Were you actively looking for a job or did we head hunt you? I was actively looking for a job and sent JBCStyle my resume. I was then contacted by them to come in and discuss the type of jobs I was looking for.
Describe your new role and what an average day consists of: Everyday seems to be different and surprising. For the most part I help keep the showroom set up and merchandised, help with any appointments, and assist in sending and receiving samples out for the public relations and sales teams.
What is your favorite thing about the company culture at your new job? I love the fact that it’s a young, fun, and trendy environment. It’s great to work with people that have the same goals and interests as you.
Who/what inspires you? Amazing friends and family, New York City, street style, strong and powerful females, and the endless possibilities that lay ahead of me.
What was your greatest accomplishment this past year? Landing two amazing internships on my own, working insanely hard, and in the end landing a great job in the fashion industry. All what I set out to do when I moved to the city.
What are your passions and interests outside the workplace? Art, good friends, good food, meeting new people, and discovering and enjoying New York City.
What was your favorite part of working with JBC? I loved working with JBC because it was such an easy process. I met with my recruiter Brett, she understood what I wanted, kept in contact with me, and in days I had found an amazing job.
If you could suggest a song for JBC’s mixtape Friday what would it be? The Naked and Famous – Punching In A Dream. Always brightens my day.
