Describe your experience with your recruiter and/or JBCStyle/JBCconnect: Very positive. I could speak openly and honestly with Christina and Thomas (they make a great team!). What distinguishes them from other recruiters is that they really listen to one’s needs / desires which makes collaboration with them to find the right job or situation MUCH easier and more pleasant. The focus is on building a professional career together with their client and this is greatly appreciated. It builds trust and long-lasting, professional relationships.

Describe your new role and what an average day consists of: I am a UX Designer and Creative Director with a focus on digital design + branding.

What has been your most rewarding or satisfying experience since starting your new role? The freedom to pick and choose jobs together with Christina/Thomas that are right for me.

What is your favorite thing about the company culture at your new job? Independence and new challenges.

Who/what inspires you? Those whom are able to combine business/design savvy with social + environmental good (IDEO, Patagonia, Herman Miller, Whole Foods, BBMG, etc).

 What was your greatest accomplishment this past year? Starting my own business.

 What are your passions and interests outside the workplace? Photography + fine arts, food + wine, gardening, fitness, travel.

 What was the most beneficial thing you learned throughout the interview process with JBC and your recruiter? Stay true to your passions, goals and values.

 What was your favorite part of working with JBC? Working together with recruiters that I could trust and speak openly with.
