J. Crew’s Ludlow Suit Attains Exclusive Shop Space

J. Crew’s Ludlow Suit Attains Exclusive Shop Space

J. Crew will open a new men’s shop next month named after and focused completely on the brands’ popular Ludlow suit.  The shop, called The Ludlow Shop at 50 Hudson, will be located in TriBeCa and carry a full assortment of suits complimented by Thomas Mason shirts, a shoe collection and neckwear.

According to WWD, the shop will offer monogramming, courier delivery, and a tailor will be on hand to personally work with customers.  With prices ranging from $400-$1,500, the Ludlow has been a successful item for J.Crew since it was introduced three years ago; the suit has proved itself worthy of its own space.

Ludlow Two-Button Suit Jacket with Center Vent in Irish Linen

The popular slim-cut Ludlow suit features half-canvas construction, pick stitching and Italian wool fabric crafted by Loro Piana.  Also available in Italian chino, Irish linen and cotton, the Ludlow provides men with stylish suiting options that offer an almost bespoke experience in terms of fit.

Success has prompted J. Crew to develop two new suit models that may continue to expand the suiting collections offered at the new store.

The Ludlow Shop at 50 Hudson is scheduled to open Feb. 29.
