To celebrate the 2011 holiday season The Ira Zaslow Foundation has launched its first annual Holiday of Hope program. The mission of the program is to bring 745 children of a New York City Bronx Public School gifts, winter clothes and jackets.
In true JBC form our goal is to accomplish this all within the next 7 days … holiday express style.
We are asking friends, family, colleagues and even perfect strangers to support this initiative by donating a small holiday gift ($5.00 or less) to our program. For each gift received, JBCStyle and JBCconnect will be donating a reciprocal gift to ensure every student will have a present to unwrap this holiday season.
A drop box is located in the lobby of our JBCStyle NYC office until December 20th and our door is always open. As of today we are accepting unwrapped gifts appropriate for boys and girls in kindergarten through fifth grade. We will be personally delivering all donated gifts during the week of December 19th.
PS MS 306 is a K-5 Title 1 school in the Bronx that is in need of some holiday cheer. The warmth they get each day is from the amazing teachers at PS MS 306 and the school that brings them a warm meal, a platform of opportunity and a group of exceptional people who care.
In the spirit of giving, Holiday of Hope is proud to make a difference in the lives of the PS MS 306 students. Your kindness and generosity is greatly appreciated.
