Giorgio Armani and Lady Gaga are pairing up to make her upcoming Born This Way Ball tour a costume-change success. Armani created monster-approved looks for Lady Gaga to wear on the tour which starts April 27 in Seoul, Korea.
According to WWD, the Italian designer has concocted what is sure to be an attention-grabbing, controversial, very-Gaga collection of gloves with mirrored tips, revealing corsets, thigh-high boots (apparently these will be robotic), matching headpieces and guitars adorned with black crystals and metal studs.
Of course it wouldn’t be right if she didn’t toss in a hefty supply of nail decor, fringe, PVC, Swarovski, spikes, latex and other scary, bondage-inspired embellishments.
Lady Gaga is probably the only artist who can seamlessly pull these looks off. Her career as a musical artist has been a consistent red-carpet walk of extravagant ensembles that relentlessly continue to push the envelope.
