Chanel TriBeCa Film Festival Dinner Celebrates Artists and… Kim and Kanye?

Chanel TriBeCa Film Festival Dinner Celebrates Artists and… Kim and Kanye?

Kim and Kanye.  Are they?  Aren’t they?  These questions may have finally been officially answered on Tuesday at the TriBeCa Film Festival Artists Program dinner hosted by Chanel.

Held at Odeon, celebrities and guests gathered to take part in the festivities honoring the filmmakers and artists of tomorrow.  Twitter was a-buzz at the sight of Kanye and Kim Kardashian side-by-side.

The “couple” hasn’t officially announced whether or not they are an item; but they’re not denying it either.  Way to steal the spotlight Kimye, K-West, K-Dash-K or whatever.

The high-profile guest list also included stylish ladies Alexa Chung and Leelee Sobieski.

Now, and more importantly (hopefully), let’s discuss the details of the event…

The annual event, in its seventh year, honors filmmakers in the form of a display of original artwork contributed by acclaimed artists.

This year, the following contemporary artists donated a mix of paintings, photographs, etchings, prints and sculptures – Peter Dayton, Walton Ford, Stephen Hannock, JR, Kim Keever, Clifford Ross, Nathan Sawaya, Cindy Sherman, Hugo Tillman, Kara Walker, and Stanley Whitney.

The exhibit, which was free and open to the public from April 5-25, will be displayed at the Tribeca Film Festival Awards Ceremony this evening to the winners of the 2012 TFF jury competition.
